This special mug was thrown on the wheel, carved, and then hand-decorated with porcelain slip-trailing before adding the handle. After the first firing (bisque), it was coated with white glaze and fired again for a shiny finish. And because more is more, gold luster was hand-painted on all the high points of the slip trailing and fired a third time to leave a layer of ✨ real 24K gold ✨ highlighting the designs. Totally a one of a kind work of functional art!
