Workshop FAQ’s:

Where do workshops take place? KayHo Ceramics is located in Chicago at 3930 N Elston Ave. All workshops will run at this location unless otherwise noted. These in-person experiences happen in a group setting around our big project table in the center of the studio.

Is it ok if I’ve never taken a clay/ceramics class before? YES! No experience is necessary for either the ceramics project workshops or the meditation sessions. You can come as you are and we welcome people of all experience levels and backgrounds.

What should I wear? You will get an email confirmation after completing your booking with info about what to wear, but in general, you can wear what makes you comfortable. Our hand building projects are not usually very messy, but feel free to bring a big t-shirt or apron to wear as a smock if you’re concerned about your outfit (or if you were nicknamed PigPen as a child 😉)

How do I get to KayHo Ceramics? We are located at 3930 N Elston . Street parking is usually available on Elston or local side streets (make sure to check signage). We are also a 2 or 3 min walk from the Irving/Central Park or Irving/Elston #80 Bus stops, 10 min walk from the Addison Blue Line, or 15 min walk from the Irving Park Blue Line or Metra stops.
